| Warrior fields is a relatively new game and is basically a copy of inselkampf. You start off with a wooden castle and upgrade buildings to become more productive. As you upgrade your castle you can make soldiers and the like. This game was written by an amateur programmer and is full of glitches and general unfair things (e.g. you get way less food than any other resource and you can't go jack food off your rivals). The two biggest glitches are the scoring system and the attacking system which are linked. To score highly you need honour which is earnt by slaughtering your own troups in the defence of some stranger who is being attacked by another stranger who is indefinately stronger. The combat results are also interesting with whoever has the most troups (no matter by how much) winning without any losses while the lesser army is completely destroyed. It also lacks the simplicity of inselkampf with many random features that are seemingly unnecessary. All in all this is a good attempt at a stratergy game, but unfortunately the stratergy and diplomacy was left out. If you want to laugh as your futile defense completely wipes out your best friends far superior army, this is the game for you submitted by harry on 16 03, 2006 |
