| I enjoyed this initially. Neat little graphics, quite a lot of building, developing and researching to do. But something doesn't give it the longevity for me. I think you do feel remote from your alliance friends, even if they are neighbours. It has some very good points - the reinforcement and trade options are very well handled with a fair amount of complexity for a game of its type, but after a while I found it repetitve. I found I didn't really care if I was attacked or not - the only time I got interested was in supporting other people! | You may have sitters while you are still active. You may have a dual account, meaning that multiple people share the same account. This is okay as long as none of those people have or play another account on the same server. Unless your playing as a team its pointless to play the game the top players are all teams The advantage of spending real world money ends up pointless unless you plan to spend hundreds of dollars as the others playing as a team does not run out of their advantage You can confirm this with Taranis Super Administrator on the games forums http://forum.travian.us ------ This personally i feel kills the game. submitted by mordet on 29 05,2008 |

| Well in comparison to Inselkampf, this game is more tame. Players stand to lose less, and battles are decided on smaller numbers. It has some really good features and is worth a try, but it lacks the surrounding community as nothing seems to be very 'live' because alliance messaging is forum based.. But a selling point for this game is the fact that you can see the buildings as you make them. but unfortunately you cannot demolish them. Which is bad when you have built 8 crannies :( Another good aspect is the fact that you can reinforce your mates etc, but i think the way that new servers are activated is good as it allows an even playing field, but can lead to some confusion.
