Review(s) of Space4k
Well from the outset this game should be good, but as pointed out by many players; myself being a quite highly scored player; it has many faults.

Competition;
The game lacks any real competition, as resources are hard to plunder due to the large amounts protected by the storage facilities; also, players have the chance to disobey the laws of physics, by creating a planet. Take for example that i have 16 planets all within close proximity. So therefore, why should i bother attacking anyone?

Warfare;
One of the biggest letdowns apart form the non-competitive slant, is the fact that if one player has anything better than your units, i.e. longeagle v's up to sentihs, one of them can obliterate anything else. So in my alliance we dont even bother making warships, because we have some bully in our neighbourhood who just wipes them out immediately. Also buildings can't be destroyed, so in other words if you want to succeed, just build buildings. In other words this isn't really a wargame.

Diplomacy;
Severly lacking the politics and eggshells of games such as Inselkampf. The messaging system is pretty rubbish, with hard to understand reply format etc, although the game does allow you to auto direct messages to the bin or to separate folders (but you wouldn't play a game just for that would you?). Also the game has no immediate feature for entering allies or peace treaties (probably because there is no need for allies). And the messaging system for each alliance is pretty dull.

Units;
The only thing which would attract IK players and the like is the option of having more units, but from my experiences this just ruins a game, as mentioned above.

Bugs;
It has a bug reporting feature, but these messages are never replied to, others have mentioned about how the 'planetary shield' doesn't work, neither does colonisation tech, or sensor tech etc.

Overall;
Avoid this game. You will find yourself just updating the vast selection of planets you have, until you have enough hydrogen (months) in order to research and fund sentihs, then you will see no point in expanding any furtherm and you will realise you wasted your life.
