| Hell Rising is a very fun text-based MMORPG taking place in a city overrun by undead. New players can choose to play as 3 different classes; humans, zombies, or vampires. Humans turn into either vampires or zombies when killed, depending on their killer and undead can be revived to their human form with a revival serum. This game runs on action points, which are used every time the player preforms any type of activity. Action points are regenerated at the rate of 15 per hour, which means casual or hardcore gamers can get into this game. Players can level up and gain new skills through the use of experience points, which can be gained through activities such as attacking or healing. This game is similar to Urban Dead in some ways, but has a much better layout and action point system in my opinion. submitted by whatley2212 on 09 08, 2007 |

| Hell Rising is the best text based MMORPG I have played. It involves a post-apocalytic setting in a city overrun by vampires and zombies. The surviving human citizens of Twilight city have to defend themselves against the onslaught of the undead, using various forms of weaponry that can be scavenged from locatons all throughout the city. Action points are used to move, with each race having a different amount depending on their hp.
